My Philosophy

10 Principles for a Fully Human Life

An invitation to think independently, protect human potential, and use knowledge and technology without surrendering judgment, responsibility, or the deeper work of becoming fully human.

These principles distill my philosophy into commitments I can remember, practice, and return to. They are not claims of perfection. They are standards for staying thoughtful, responsible, and fully human in a world that constantly competes for our attention and judgment.

  1. My mind is my responsibility.
  2. I seek truth beyond tribe and ideology.
  3. I strive to read deeply, write clearly, and think independently.
  4. I guard my attention against manipulation.
  5. I use technology without surrendering judgment.
  6. I understand the value in doing hard things and choose growth over comfort and stagnation.
  7. I discipline my body and my mind.
  8. I seek wisdom beyond the present moment.
  9. I hold conviction with humility and openness.
  10. I choose empathy, care, and service over the superficial pursuit of personal gain.

I will not live these principles perfectly. That is precisely why I need them. The measure is not whether I ever stumble, lose focus, or fall short. The measure is whether I remain willing to examine myself, correct my direction, and return to the person I am still becoming.
